Tinnitus sufferers, has anyone tried "Sound Therapy" for relief/cure? If so would love to hear results.
Sound Therapy is where patients listen to constantly alternating sounds which supposedly rehabilitate the ear. A naturapath told me she gave her brother Gingko Bil.. stuff and it made no difference to his tinnitus. Tebonin is made of the same stuff, so doesn't sound (oops) promising. Any comments appreciated. Not really much of a Q but has anyone tried???

Never tried the sound therapy. It wouldnt surprise me if it did though. THe body responds to many different healing frequencies and this would be a step in right direction.
Here are some ideas (Im aware of) on how to heal your condition. #9 or #10 will solve the issue, but you still need to look at your water and nutrition intake in general.
Causes of Hearing Disorders
Among the most common causes of hearing disorders are allergies, antibiotic and other drug use, the buildup of earwax, infection and inflammation, and chronic exposure to loud noises.
Quick Action Plan for Hearing Disorders
1. Clean your ears regularly, using cotton swabs, but do so gently to avoid damaging ear tissue.
2. Avoid exposure to loud noises. If you work in a noisy environment, wear earplugs or earmuffs to protect your ears.
3. Be screened for both food and environmental allergies. A highly effective method for detecting allergies is electrodermal screening (EDS).
4. To eliminate allergies, consider enzyme-potentiated desensitization (EPD).
5. Emphasize a diet rich in organic whole foods, especially plenty of fresh, organic vegetables, along with garlic and onions to boost immunity. Also eat high quality protein foods, such as organic free-range meats, poultry and wild-caught fish.
6. Avoid all foods to which you are allergic or sensitive, and eliminate all commercially processed foods, as well as sugar, refined carbohydrates, alcohol, and caffeine, and all food additives, colorings, and preservatives.
7. Drink plenty of pure, filtered water throughout the day.
8. Useful nutrients for hearing problems include vitamin A, beta carotene, B vitamins, vitamin C, zinc, MSM, and N-acetyl cysteine (NAC). Acidophilus supplements are also recommended to prevent infection and systemic yeast overgrowth (candiasis).
9. Useful herbs include Echinacea, ginkgo biloba, goldenseal, hypericum, and St. John’s wort. Drops of tea tree oil and diluted grapeseed extracts inserted in the ear via an eye dropper can also be helpful.
10. Useful homeopathic remedies include Aconite, Apis mellifica, Belladonna, Chamomilla, Ferrum, phos., Lycopodium, Merc. Sol., Pulsatilla, and Silicea.
11. According to traditional Chinese medicine theory, most hearing disorders are related to imbalances in the kidney meridian system. Rebalancing kidney energies using acupuncture and Chinese herbs can often resolve hearing problems.
12. Auditory integration training, such as the Tomatis Method, can be highly effective for resolving hearing problems related to hypersensitivity to high frequency sounds.
